A P P E A R A N C E S & S I G N I N G S SEPTEMBER 2008--INNOCENCE UNVEILED will be released in the UK in March 2009. SEPTEMBER 2008--Blythe's THE HARLOT'S DAUGHTER, will be one of two books included in A YULETIDE INVITATION from Mills & Boon, being published for Christmas 2008. Write It When You Can't Be There APRIL 2008--The week of April 14th is Harlequin Historical week at http://www.romancevagabonds.com. Blythe will be kicking it off Monday, April 14, with three other writers of the medieval time period and popping back all week. Please join them for prizes, to post, or just to lurk. Friday’s special guest will be Joanne Carr, editor, from Harlequin Mills & Boon outside London, the office that is responsible for the line. Here’s a full list of all authors attending. See you then!
Monday: MEDIEVAL / RENAISSANCE FEBRUARY 2008--Blythe Gifford will be conducting an online course: "How To Write It When You Can't Be There". This is a two-week course from May 5-16, 2008, sponsored by the Wine Country Romance Writers. FEBRUARY 2008--The Knave and the Maiden was released by Harlequin in Australia. For more information, see the eHarlequin.com.au web site. FEBRUARY 2008--Blythe will be signing books with other local authors at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Arlington Heights. (See below for details.) Other authors at the signing will include: Marin Thomas, Morgan Mandel, Beverly Long, Sara Daniel, Maureen Lang and Laurie Brown. JANUARY 2007-FEBRUARY 2007--Blythe will be teaching an online workshop for the Louisville Romance Writers. The four-week class begins January 15, 2007 and runs through February 9, 2007. JULY 2006--Blythe will be attending the Romance Writers of America National Conference in Atlanta, GA. On Wednesday, July 26, she will be signing books at the Literacy for Life autographing session from 5:30-8:30p.m. This event is open to the public. Blythe will also be presenting a workshop on Saturday, July 29. She will be speaking with romance author Deborah Pfeiffer on "60 Minutes to Your Marketing Strategy." In this workshop, Blythe and Deborah will show you how to make marketing work for you. As marketing and publishing professionals, they will teach you how to develop your own marketing strategy, then guide you through a practical exercise to create your very own branding slogan. Please bring page 5 (or beginning page) of your current manuscript to the session. See below for details. FEBRUARY 2006--Harlequin Books will release The Knave and the Maiden in Brazil under the title A Aguia e o Anjo. For more information, click here.
